Narratives

This week we are going to continue working on writing narratives.

If you scroll down a bit you will find information to help remind you of all the things we talked about last term so that you can create some awesome narratives for us to read.

Choose one of the pictures below to write your narrative.

"Where Has he been?"

"What's his problem?

"WHO ARE THEY WAITING FOR?"

Remember to :

  • Brainstorm your ideas (what can you see, hear, touch, taste, smell and feel).

  • Plan your writing (Who are your characters? What is the setting? What is the problem? How will your story end?).

  • Write a draft (no more than two to three pages is needed to tell a gripping story).

  • Read your writing aloud on your own, check that it makes sense.

  • Read your writing to look for any mistakes you could fix up on your own.

  • Read and show your story to an adult to enjoy.
